Hertfordshire County Council has launched a consultation on local recycling centre services, including changes that will impact many residents, including those who pay someone to take away their waste.
The council is seeking your views on three main options to make ‘efficiency savings’ at recycling centres:
– Restricting those who should not have access to Hertfordshire’s recycling centres
– Charging for excess DIY waste
– Refusing to accept any unsorted residual waste
