Oxhey ward’s councillors say there been a high response to a parking questionnaire circulated to local residents, asking for their views on potential controlled areas in the ward.
The consultation was launched following requests from local residents. It closes on Wednesday 21 November 2018.
Councillors say they have no preferred outcome and this is the start of the process to find out whether residents are in favour of a controlled parking scheme, with a map showing indicative proposals.
If residents are in favour, the council will develop more detailed proposals, which will then be subject to further consultation, including a public exhibition and drop-in session. This would also be the stage at which specific concerns, such as precise boundaries and signage, would be agreed.
There is a meeting being held to discuss the proposal on Monday 19 November at the Rifle Volunteer pub. The meeting is not being organised by Watford Borough Council or OVEG. More details below…
