Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for the OVEG Big Breakfast… which turned out to be our biggest Big Breakfast to-date!
Over the course of just three hours, the Oxhey Village Environment Group team served almost 140 breakfasts for the community. And better still – thanks to the generosity or diners – we raised more than £800 for Watford’s Peace Hospice.
Following the clean up, we had some surplus food and drink, which we were delighted to donate to New Hope; a Watford-based charity that supports homeless and vulnerably-housed people.
We’re incredibly grateful to our hosts, Bushey Baptist Church, as well as the many local businesses who donated food and drink. And of course, a big thank you to our small army of volunteers who kept the show on the road.
