A bicycle security event will be running at Watford General Hospital tomorrow (Friday July 15) where cyclists will be able to get their bikes security marked for free.
The event, run by PCSO Sue Lowther from the Watford Safer Neighbourhood Team in conjunction with the West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust, will run from 12noon to 2pm outside the A&E entrance.
Cyclists will be able to bring their bicycles along and get them marked and registered for free on the Immobilise database. This enables police to return a lost or stolen bike to the genuine owner and can also provide evidence to link a suspect with a crime.
