Bryan Hutt, a former chair of Oxhey Village Environment Group, has died aged 78.
He spent more than 30 years as a member of the OVEG. During that time, he fought to protect the area from development and produced a history sheet that was regularly distributed within our newsletters.
He first joined in the mid-1970s and was notably involved in a campaign to save Attenborough Fields from being developed into a golf course. He also contributed to OVEG and Ian MacKay’s book Oxhey in Pictures.
