Bushey station through the eyes of the Victorians

This year marks the 200th anniversary of the railways, so what better opportunity to share a video of Victorian train travel at Bushey station.

The video is part of the BFI’s historical archives and was recorded in 1897. It shows passengers coming on and off trains at a time before the station, as we now know it, was constructed.

You can find out more, and watch the full video, in a new history article; Bushey station on film in 1897.

The article is the latest addition to OVEG’s historical archives. If you would like to contribute a piece, contact publicity@oveg.org.
