There will be a free open day this weekend at the Hertfordshire Fire Brigade Museum and Watford fire station. The event will run from 12:00 until 15:00 on Saturday 6 September. No booking is required.
You’ll be able to learn about firefighting through the ages, complete with historic fire engines and uniforms. The team from Watford fire station will also be there to demonstrate modern fire engines.
