Hope to see some of you this Saturday for our Friends of Oxhey Park September Clear Up at 10.30am, meet by the bridge. Sandy has a few ideas for clearing up as well as litter picking. We’d really appreciate your help.
As I’m sure you know, after the dramas of the traveller incursions in the park in August and last May, plans are being made to install some type of barrier along the sides of the park to prevent this happening again.
Cllr Peter Taylor tells me that funds are now in place and a decision is about to be made on which type of barrier will be installed. He says ‘We got almost 500 survey responses – really useful feedback and we’re grateful to everyone who took part.’ It’s intended that this will happen as soon as is possible and we will be updated with any news.
