It’s that time of year again when the Oxhey Village advent calendar will be popping up in different windows around the village. The event is now in its seventh year and was the idea of Ayan Lowe, after reading about another area that does something similar and feeling it would be something that the Village would embrace.
It has become so popular over the years that there are now three separate calendars all raising money for their chosen charity.
Lower Paddock Road, Upper Paddock Road, Maxwell Rise, Field Road and King Edward Road will have an endangered animal theme with all money raised going to the WWF.
Cross Road, Haydon Road and Paddock Close are raising money for The Watford Peace Hospice.
Wilcot Avenue, Talbot Avenue, Bucks Avenue and Sherwoods Road are raising money for local resident, Ross Filer’s world challenge. More info on his challenge here.
