This March 2020 book swap and Craft Club at St Matthew’s Church has been cancelled due to the emerging coronavirus.
The book swap team is aware that people may be confined to home and need new books to read. The church will, therefore, open on Thursday 19 March 2020, between 14:00 and 15:00, for people to bring books and take out new ones.
Any books must be placed in the box so that no-one but you need touch them. The ticket system will also be suspended during the current emergency but please do not abuse the system and only take up to five books. There will be no social, crafting or refreshments. This is to eliminate cross-infection as much as possible.
Given the ever-changing advice, the church may revise the system in the next couple of days.
