Scenes from Sky Atlantic’s Sweetpea filmed in Oxhey Park

If you’ve been watching Sky Atlantic’s new show Sweetpea, you may have spotted a familiar site from Oxhey Village.

Scenes from the dark comedy-drama were filmed at various sites in Watford, such as Church Car Park, and a key scene shot in Oxhey Park.

Based on a the book by CJ Skuse, Sweetpea stars English actress Ella Purnell as Rhiannon Lewis; an unassuming young administrator at a local newspaper who develop a liking for murder.

The filming was facilitated through the Hertfordshire Film Office.
