Three Rivers District Council will meet next week to debate two major developments on green belt land close to Oxhey Village.
The council’s planning committee will convene at 19:00 on Thursday 23 October 2025. Amongst several proposals for consideration are the two developments on Oxhey Lane green belt.
In July, we called on the community to oppose these developments. Hundreds of residents expressed their horror at the permanent removal of green belt land, damage to biodiversity, destruction of wildlife habitats, and the effective merging of the area between Oxhey Village and neighbouring areas into one larger town.
While a final decision will not be made at this meeting, the committee will discuss the developments and the material planning issues raised by the applications.
The full meeting agenda, and details of how you can listen in, are available on the Three Rivers District Council website.
