Watford has agreed to take part in a pilot scheme, run by the Cabinet Office, meaning voters within the borough will need to show ID before they can vote on 3 May 2018.
Voters in Watford Borough will be required to show their poll card before they can vote in the Watford Mayoral Election and Watford Borough Ward Elections.
