Head down to Oxhey Orchard this weekend for the annual wassailing event.
On Saturday 10 January 2026, the Friends of Attenborough Fields will bring the community together to mark the ancient tradition, where they will ‘bless’ the fruit trees, banish evil spirits from the orchard, and drink some mulled cider.
Come along with your own mug for some spiced cider or apple juice, and bring your Christmas tree for the bonfire. Please bring a donation of £3 per family.
Oxhey Orchard is located in Paddock Road Allotments, accessible from the junction of Upper Paddock Road and Lower Paddock Road.
