Jumble Thanks

A massive, massive thanks to everyone who turned out for Saturday’s Oxhey Village Jumble Trail. It was so lovely to see you all… it’s been way too long. We hope you enjoyed catching up with your neighbours. Perhaps you even met a few new faces too?

We’re still counting the exact pennies, but with your help we raised more than £400 for Watford-based charity Small Acts of Kindness, which aims to reduce loneliness and isolation for older people. The funds will help towards the cost of purchasing essential keep warm items for older people, including blankets, hats, gloves and socks.

Huge thanks to Chloe Hancock who made it all possible by arranging all 65 of our stalls, and Wilf for bringing smiles and general positivity. Also thanks to Chris for letting us set up outside The Rifle Volunteer Oxhey Village, and to Peter Taylor – Mayor of Watford for helping us to launch the event.
