Bushey Station improvements

Bushey Station looks set to receive government funding for much needed improvements to platforms and parking facilities.

Network Rail has now started work on proposals to improve waiting accommodation on platforms and increase the number of car parking spaces. The future improvement works are likely to be funded through the National Stations Improvement Programme, a £150m government initiative.

This latest announcement is in addition to the recent refurbishment of the station’s cycle room. Previously this was left locked, meaning it could only be used by a limited number of residents. Now changes have been made so that the room is unlocked during operational hours, and new CCTV has been installed to maintain security. New signs have been installed to make people aware, but please do also spread the word to neighbours and friends.
