As we move towards some level of normality, our thoughts remain with those who have experienced great difficulties during the past year, whether that be losing loved ones, financial challenges, or health issues; both mental and physical.
The OVEG committee are keeping a close eye on the situation and hoping that, with the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, we can soon start bringing back the great community events that we once took for granted, yet now seem more important than ever. Sadly, the changes will come too late for us to bring you this year’s Summer Fayre, which we know will be just as disappointing for you as it is for us. We will also have to postpone yearly Social/AGM until such a point that we are able to meet inside.
However, the Oxhey Village Jumble Trail will return on 31 July, and we hope to hold a Picnic on the Green during the summer months, if Government advice allows, so keep an eye out for further information.
More good news is that our first printed newsletter in a very long time is nearly complete and we are excited to be delivering copies to all our loyal members.
