County councillor Stephen Giles-Medhurst is using part of his Highways Locality Budget for a ‘deep clean’ of Upper and Lower Paddock, Villiers and Capel Roads.
In streets like these with heavy on-street parking, it is impossible to clean the gullies regularly or carry out repairs towards the edges of the road.
The idea is that for one day only residents are asked to move their cars to enable the gullies to be swept, gullies cleansed and repairs carried out. Notices will be sent out formally to residents, but the dates will be as follows:
14 November 2018 Capel Road
14 November 2018 Villiers Road
21 November 2018 Upper Paddock Road
21 November 2018 Lower Paddock Road
