We’ve had lots of reports of dog poo in Oxhey recently.
In Watford it is an offence for a person in control of a dog, not to clean up immediately if the dog has fouled on public land. If you are caught not clearing up your dog’s waste, you may be issued with a fixed penalty notice or even prosecuted, which can result in a fine of up to £1000.
If you should see a dog fouling that the dog owner doesn’t pick up, please report it to Environmental Health on 01923 278503. Please provide the date, time, location, description of the dog and the dog owner. Also the address of the dog owner if known.
