Concerns have been raised by local residents about the poor quality resurfacing work recently undertaken on Kingsfield Road. The county council has agreed that the contractor’s job was not good enough. Both the road junctions and about half the road will need to be completely resurfaced. This will paid for by the contractor. However, the bad news is that due to the weather they cannot do this remedial until in March 2015.
The contractor has been asked to reinstate the road markings and make alterations to the ironworks and it is hoped that works will commence on 3 December, weather permitting.
