EMERGENCY APPEAL
Calls to domestic abuse helplines have risen significantly since the lockdown. Campaigners have warned restrictions could heighten domestic tensions and cut off escape routes for victims of abuse.
Watford Women’s Centre (WWC), established in 1989 and based in Market Street, provides vital support to local women. Donations from the public are crucial to the continued work of the charity and mean that they can continue to provide support to those women who are in need, particularly at this difficult time.
