After a couple of years away, the Big Breakfast will return to Oxhey Village on Saturday 4 October 2025.
What is the Big Breakfast?
Once a year, we put on our aprons and cook up a breakfast for the community, while at the same time raising money for charity. Over the last 10 years, we’ve raised thousands of pounds for Watford’s Rennie Grove Peace Hospice.
How can you attend the Big Breakfast?
The Big Breakfast will be held once again at Bushey Baptist Church on Chalk Hill. We’ll be serving food from 08:30 until 11:00.
You’ll be able to choose from the following options:
– Full English – £10
– Kids portion – £7
– Continental – £7
Vegetarian and vegan option are also available.
There’s no need to book. Just turn up on the day and we’ll find you a seat.
Locally sourced
We try to locally-source as much of our food as possible. If you run a local business and would like to donate produce, please get in touch. In return, we’ll be delighted to promote your support for the community and the Peace Hospice.
Volunteer
We can only run the Big Breakfast thanks to our team of volunteers who help cook, serve food and welcome guests on the day. If you can spare an hour or two, please contact volunteers@oveg.org.
Donate items
If you run a business and can donate food, drink or supplies for us to use on the day, please contact publicity@oveg.org. The more donations we receive, the more funds we can pass on to charity.
