Watford’s Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care is launching a new CompassionART Café in South Oxhey, bringing support for those who are lonely due to a life-limiting illness or bereavement.
The CompassionART Café launches on Thursday 31 July and will be held at Oxhey Library on Bridlington Road. It will be run in partnership with Three Rivers District Council Healthy Hub.
Running from 13:30 to 15:00, the CompassionART Café will take place on the last Thursday of every month.
CompassionART Cafés are drop-in sessions that provide a safe space for people to come together and express themselves through art. They are aimed at anyone who might be lonely due to illness or bereavement. The sessions include a guided arts and crafts activity and provide a safe space to chat and connect with others, share memories and create lasting connections over a cup of tea.
