The book swap at St Matthew’s Church will return on Thursday 16 July 2020, with socially-distanced measures in place.
The team at St Matthews are aware that many people will have read all the books they have available and will want new ones to enjoy. They will therefore open the doors between 14:00 and 15:30 for people to bring books and take out new ones.
Any books must be placed in the box so that no-one but you need touch them. The ticket system will also be suspended during the current emergency but please do not abuse the system and only take up to five books.
As previously, there will be no social, crafting or refreshments. This is to eliminate cross-infection as much as possible.
If all continues the way it has been, they are hoping to do this again in August and September, and then reassess the situation.
