We’ve been asked to pass on the sad news that local resident John Tilbury passed away on Monday 10 November 2025. John died peacefully at home with his family, following a year-long battle with cancer.
As an Oxhey Village resident of more than 50 years, so we know that he had many friends in the community who will be greatly saddened by his loss.
John was also a long-term OVEG member so we’re grateful for his support over the years and we’re sending our love to all his family.
A funeral will be held at North Watford Cemetery on 4 December 2025, with the service beginning at 11:00.
