This is part of its plan to help plant 1.8 million trees by 2030 in support of the county council’s Sustainable Hertfordshire Strategy goals of improving air quality, supporting wildlife, and adapting Hertfordshire to the impacts of climate change. The trees can be planted in Hertfordshire residents’ gardens, business premises, or other suitable land, with the permission of the landowner.
