Residents on Grover, Pinner and Kingsfield Roads continue to be disturbed by the noise coming from the GFL site and recently organised a meeting for all those affected. Council officers are currently monitoring the noise levels to determine whether they are causing a Statutory Noise Nuisance, which has a very specific legal definition. GFL have offered to meet the directly affected residents to try to negotiate a reasonable compromise and this is currently being arranged.
