Hertfordshire County Council has been awarded £6.4 million by the Department for Transport as part of the government’s Active Travel Fund. The grant will look to create safer, easier to use spaces for pedestrians and cyclists. By increasing walking and cycling, we can improve health, air quality, road safety, the local economy and traffic congestion. They have identified 11 sites where improvements may be made as part of the fund and they would like to hear how you think these areas could be improved in line with what we’ve already suggested.
