The Mama Bear Herbal Clinic is holding a special ceremony to celebrate the opening of its newly expanded premises.
The event, led by Mayor of Watford Peter Taylor, will take place on Saturday 18 April at 09:45 at their shop at 47 Capel Road, Watford.
The Mama Bear team are microbiome and gut health specialists, helping people who are struggling with chronic gut-related symptoms such as IBS, bloating, inflammatory bowel issues, diverticulitis and related conditions. Led by principal herbalist Urszula Nair, the clinic provides practitioner-grade herbal medicine.
The expanded clinic will feature two new therapy rooms, creating a welcoming hub for holistic care. Alongside expert herbal consultations, patients can access nutritional support and other complementary therapies all under one roof.
Urszula is a supporter of OVEG and has written articles for our member newsletter. You can read her next piece in the upcoming spring 2026 newsletter, which will be delivered to OVEG members in the next few weeks.
Mama Bear’s services include:
-Personalised herbal treatment for stubborn gut health problems
-Microbiome-focused herbal tinctures and therapeutic teas
-Root-cause approach with laboratory testing and follow-up care
-Collaborative care with on-site nutritionists
Everyone is welcome to join the opening ceremony. You’ll be able to tour the new therapy rooms, meet the practitioners, taste their new gut-health herbal teas, and collect a complimentary goody bag.
Local residents, existing clients, and holistic therapists interested in room rental opportunities are all invited.
