The search for the missing newsletters…

Calling local detectives: We’re on the trail of some missing OVEG newsletters – we need your help.

We have dozens and dozens of newsletters spanning OVEG’s 50-year history. However, there are several large gaps in our archives… we’re 100% sure that copies of the missing editions will be lurking in houses around the village.

We’re looking for:

  • Newsletters published between 1975 and 1993
  • Newsletters published between 2001 and 2008

The newsletters are a fantastic source of local history. That’s why we’d love to find the missing copies and make them available to the community online.

It’s very likely that some long-term residents will have the missing copies tucked away in lofts, cupboards or old files. If that’s you, we’d be delighted to borrow the newsletters and make a copy.

Better still, if you’d like the space back in your house, we’ll take them off your hands and store them safely in our archives!
