The OVEG Social and AGM was held on Thursday 19 May 2022. We hosted the event at Villiers Coffee House on Villiers Road.
This was the first AGM we had been able to hold since 2019 – due to the Covid-19 pandemic – and Paul Hudson’s first as chair.
Paul delivered the chair’s report and John Drummond provided a financial update, after which the new committee for the coming year was voted in. The committee remained the same as the previous year, other than Nick Edgeworth who has become Planning & Environment Officer, and Paul was officially voted as OVEG Chair, having been ‘acting chair’ for the past two years to cover the period with no AGMs.
There was much discussion the room about ideas for the local area we also had interest from a couple of people regarding joining the Committee.
We were grateful to Thank you to Andy Killpack for the use of the coffee shop, and everyone who organised snacks and drinks.
