Oxcoustic 2015

OVEG’s Oxcoustic music festival was held on Sunday 6 September 2015. We hosted the event at on Oxhey Village Green.

Oxcoustic was inspired by a OVEG’s forerunner event, Oxfest, but toned down in terms of staging and decibels.

It turned out to be a beautiful day on the village green. The idea was for a laid back, acoustic feel with food firmly on the agenda, including delicious Lebanese food by Alexander Express, the ever popular You Silly Sausage, and The Sweetie Camper.

Holly Rolph was – pardon the pun – instrumental in organising the talented, local talented acts (including herself, of course) for this very enjoyable musical event, which entertained around 200 people throughout the afternoon and evening.

Other performers included Thomas Rogers, Georgia Lowe, The Ruse, The Henley Brothers, Louis Antonio and Chloe Pamplin & Jack Grand.

Huge thanks also went to OVEG’s Ian Davis and Matt Acornley, without whom this event would not have happened, as well as to Ben Atkins and other committee members Michelle, Kim, Rob and Ellen.
