Kebbell Homes plans destruction of Oxhey Lane field

There are yet more plans to destroy green space on Oxhey Lane, close to Oxhey Village.

Property developer Kebbell Homes will hold a public consultation on Tuesday 18 November 2025 to outline their proposals for 70 new units.

The site is a field to the left hand side of Oxhey Lane, just past the Load of Hay pub. It will be familiar to passers-by due to the ‘beware of the bull’ signs. This is in addition to two existing proposals for destruction of green belt in the area. The site backs on to Sherwoods Road and Elm Avenue.

Kebbell’s consultation will be held at Bushey & Oxhey Methodist Church from 15:00 to 19:00.

OVEG representatives will be in attendance to learn more about the plans. We encourage as many residents as possible to come and long and find out how yet more of our cherished green space will be concreted over.

As an organisation run entirely by volunteers, we are reliant on membership to be able to fight these issues on behalf of the community. To help us protect our wonderful green belt, please consider joining OVEG today.
