Christian Garrick to play Oxhey Sounds

Back by popular demand after their concert one year ago, Christian Garrick – arguably the country’s leading jazz violinist – and pianist David Gordon, shine light from concert stages wherever they go.

At 19:30 on 29 November 2025, they will play at the Bushey & Oxhey Methodist Church for another Oxhey Sounds production.

Renowned for the quick-fire energy and the telepathic connection between these two long-term friends and colleagues, Christian and David were described in the Guardian as “…brilliant – musical intelligence, humour, sharpness, swing, superb improvisational skills – they have it all.” Their programme will mix originals with standards, tunes from the jazz and Latin songbooks and more, all underpinned by a spirit of joyous improvisation, classy elegance and enormous fun.

This concert is part of a tour, which will also take them to Yorkshire, Sussex, Buckinghamshire and, remarkably, the clocktower at St Pancras.

Drinks and nibbles will be served before the concert from 19:00.

You can secure your seats on the Oxhey Sounds ticket website.
