Calling all young artists… a drawing competition has been launched to raise awareness of the risks to green belt land.
The competition is being run by Save Our Green Belt SW Herts Coalition; a campaign group established to oppose a housing development on Oxhey Lane.
It is open to anyone aged 16 and under. Simply create some artwork based on the theme: ‘Why our green belt matters.’
Entrance is free and there are prizes to be won in three categories. Entries should be submitted to saveourgreenbeltherts@gmail.com by 5 July 2026.
Winning entries may be featured in the group’s campaign materials and social media.
