Council to decide on Oxhey Lane this week

Three Rivers District Council will meet this week to decide on an outline planning application for land to the east of Oxhey Lane.

The meeting, which takes place Thursday 19 March 2026, will assess an application by Burlington Developments London to build 256 houses.

That means residents have just a few days to submit their views for consideration at the meeting.

Representatives from OVEG will be attending the meeting. As an organisation run entirely by volunteers, we are reliant on membership to be able to fight these issues on behalf of the community. To help us protect our wonderful green belt, please consider joining OVEG today.

How to input your views

Visit the Three Rivers planning portal and search for the reference number 25/1020/OUT.

Please note that Three Rivers planners and councillors need strong planning reasons – in line with planning law – to turn down the application. To help, we have prepared tips and guidance for submitting an objection on our dedicated Oxhey Lane planning applications page.
