Oxhey Village Brewfest 2026

Beer enthusiasts turned out in their hundreds to raise a glass in the sun at Oxhey Village Brewfest, which took place on Saturday 9 May 2026.

Following the beer festival’s major expansion in 2025, Brewfest was once again spread across all six pubs in the area, including The Load of Hay, The Railway Arms, The Rifle Volunteer, The Royal Oak, The Victoria, and the Villiers Arms.

Coordinated by Oxhey Village Environment Group and Oxhey Village Brewery, the family-friendly festival is a one-day celebration of local beer, food and music.

Visitors had the chance to taste ales from regional breweries, including Hertfordshire’s Mad Squirrel, Tring Brewery, and Rickmansworth-based Creative Juices.

Food was on offer from a series of popular independent caters including Billbies burgers, and Rolling Flames pizzas. Local musicians also kept the crowds entertained, with sets from Sarah Sharp, Anthony O’Rjoger, the Out of Handers jazz band, and Watford Pump House’s Clog Morris dancers.

In addition to the regional beer brands, local micro-producer Oxhey Village Brewery created six one-off pale ales, allowing each pub to offer a different cask for visitors to sample.

Brewfest is always tremendously popular, but this was the busiest we’ve ever seen. As usual, it was the perfect opportunity to raise a glass alongside friends and neighbours, in celebration of our vibrant pub scene.

We’re already making plans to mark Brewfest’s tenth anniversary in 2027…
