Thank you to everyone who joined us on Saturday for this year’s OVEG Big Breakfast.
In just three hours, our volunteers served almost 130 breakfasts for the community. Thanks to the generosity of diners, we raised more than £800 for Watford’s Peace Hospice and New Hope.
Following the clean up, we had some surplus food and drink, which we were delighted to donate to Watford Foodbank and Red Trust Bushey.
We’re incredibly grateful to our hosts, Bushey Baptist Church, as well as the many local businesses who donated produce. And of course, a big thank you to our small army of volunteers who kept the show on the road.
You can see more photos from the day on our Big Breakfast 2026 event page.
We’re only able to run community events like the Big Breakfast thanks to the support of our members. If you’re not currently an OVEG member, please consider supporting by joining today.
